2017 "Sleepers"

"Sleeper Team" , is a term used when describing a team that just might be better than the majority of us expert them to be. It's a team that could very well end up surprise everybody due to kids getting better , better coaching or even new recruits who went under the radar .

So with this article were going to take a first hand look at every division in Greater Miami Pop Warner and see what teams to look out for.

(75 lbs Jr. Bandits )

The talk of the town at this age group has been North West Boys Club Falcons and Liberty "Litt" City Warriors. Unfortunately the "champs" Over town Tornadoes have been over looked due to key players leaving for the Warriors. The Tornadoes will be a Scrappy team i look for this team to make noise.

The Glouds Rams who is young but talented should be a problem this year.

Division two will feature Palmetto Bay Broncos .

With good coaches and talented kids nobody should sleep on this team.

(85lbs Bandits )

With house whole names like "Boom", Over town , Palmetto Bay and Little Rivers . I wonder who could sneak out this division .

No fear i think i know a team , "Palmetto Raiders".

Last year this team was 4-4 with first year coaches but ,with more talent and better coaching this team should cause some trouble the 2017 football season.

(100 lbs Mighty Mites )

The Number #1 Ranked Team in Miami. Palmetto Raiders flexed their muscles for the last two season. Its a storming brewing in this age group with a lot of former "National Champs" coaches on mighty mites, question is will the the (Chosen ones) survive .

Talent for Talent no one matches these kids .

Liberty City has been close the last two season's and with Mr. Jonas at the helm they pose the biggest threat.

North West Boys Club was the Div. 2 champs and will be a team that make some noise .

(Jr Pee Wees 115lbs )

This Division have proving year in and year out to be the toughest age group to play in.

A lot of Stand out teams been talked about N.W.B.C Falcons , Glouds Rams , Florida City , Liberty City and in Division two Tacocly Red Raiders .

But one team beg to differ and even going on a limb to say they will win the S.T.C this year. No other then the Over Town Tornadoes. They is loaded this year at every position with great coaching words to describe them a "force to wrecking with" .

(Pee Wees 130 lbs )

The Money Team (Over town ) have won 5 titles back to back making a hard test look easy ,well they not finish yet.

Palmetto and Coach Knight have put together a team to stop number 6 from happening and with Glouds Rams in the rear view these three team will scrap it out.

Teams to watch

One team is missing from the equation which is the Liberty City Warriors a hard working team attached with good coaching .

Also Tacocly 130 lbs under Dee Britt should be a team talked about .

Goulds is loaded once again this time they hope to capitalize this season. Florida City the champs still sit at the top of the mountain . North West Boys Club the D2 Nationals champs should be good .

Richmond Nationals Champs Staff stayed down and ready for the challenge, Liberty City have a good staff and a groups of great players .
