The Pompano Cowboys Mighty Mites Has had a great year. The season started off with many new players, The Supervisor watch a team and a coaching staff that needed guidance and new goal setting.

First: ‘the buildup”, our team needed some pieces to make us great, coaches get the right staff that can listen and don’t mine giving the credit to one another.

Second: “Put a lock on the city:” for years Collier city kids has been taken by the surrounding city as well as the parks that are in Pompano. Keep the kids in their own neighbor and half the battle is done.

Next: “The tradition” Implement to the kids how things use to be, and what it meant to be a Collier City Cowboy... “Do it for the City” Play for more than just self-value.

Last but not least: “the Challenge” Challenge the kids to not just win but to dominate... We set Goals for the kids in practice to reach every day in practice and transferred that determination to game time.

The program has been through more than any park as far as bad publicity, now with a new looks in management, the cowboys are back, and all it took is just one team to win, and dominate for their neighborhood from day one. Now the parents had a chance to see what can happen if we stick together as a community.. A vision was set at the being because, just winning games wouldn’t been enough to regain the city attention. So when you hear them Cowboys yelling “This is the City” Just know that’s Collier City…

The stand out players:

#2, #5, #4, # 6, #11, #12, #20, #80, #88,

Take your pick!!..

This team came out of no where but left as champ.
