The Last four weeks of the schedule haven’t been all “peaches and cream “for the Pee Wees (130lbs) of Liberty City Warriors they made is out the Fire and now they looking down the Mountain.

Beating all three of the top Contenders in their weight class, 14-13 Richmond, 14-7 Over town, and this past weekend 13-6 Gwen Cherry.

With 90 percent of the tough games out the way it is safe to say this team will have home field advantage for the playoffs .Lead by their explosive running game and well coached hard hitting defenses this not an overnight success. Hard work, off season preparation, coaches who stays in the lab, key add on makes up this team DNA.

I had a chance to talk with Coach Frank Wiwo and ask him questions about his Team

What makes this Team different from any other Team you coached?

The differences in this team and other teams, they been to the Sean Taylor Classic (STC) every year but, always come up short. Other teams I had been used to losing. “This year team knows how to fight back “

How you get your team focus and not into the hype the week of the Game?

We tell our kids to remember how they felt last year after the Sean Taylor Classic lost. “I’m not going lie these kids READY!!

Out of Richmond, Over town and Gwen Cherry which one was your hardest opponents and why?

Richmond was the tougher Game; I say that because it was our 1st Game of the season…… on the road and without our best two players. Gwen Cherry game wasn’t that hard because our kids wanted that game badly, they were already focusing and ready for Gwen Cherry.
